Ripple appoints Kelvin Lee as head of Southeast Asia Operations for Regional Expansion

Lee has two decades of leadership experience
According to the report, Kelvin Lee has two decades of leadership experience in the banking and financial sectors. He has years of experience in sectors such as financial payments, fraud and risk management, data solutions and online mobile banking solutions across the whole world including Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Kelvin Lee has also worked as the senior executive in companies such as Mastercard, Visa, and FIS. While discussing the firm’s growth plans and his appointment, Lee stated:
We want to enable money to flow across borders as quickly as data does, by empowering players in the remittance and money transfer market
 
The firm Ripple sees the Asia Pacific region very important for the global expansion because almost half of the customers of Ripple are there in its RippleNet payment network based in the Asia Pacific.
